What is career coaching?
Career coaching is a series of focussed dynamic discussions between you and a professional coach designed to help connect you to your passion, talents, values, goals and other critical aspects of your ideal work. Working one to one with your coach you can expect to gain greater focus, fresh insights and awareness of your professional possibilities and direction. The process is supported by worksheets between sessions. You can also opt for psychometric assessments where appropriate.
Once you have established your desired direction, you can choose to have your coach support you through your action plan, to get where you want to be. CV and Interview coaching may be part of this important phase. Career coaching is a challenging and exciting process as (often long-overdue) change begins to take place and you move ahead with energy and a renewed sense of purpose.
How long does it take?
Career change is one of the major decisions we take in a lifetime and is a profound and highly individual process. In our experience clients seeking new direction and fulfillment, rather than simply a new job find that it is not an overnight process as options to settle and the right way forward to become clear. The average number of sessions for career change is 8, for career development 6-8; while interview and cv coaching are covered in single sessions. We also offer career focus sessions for clients who have most bases covered and just need clarity or an action plan to proceed to the next phase of their career.
How much does it cost?
Charging is either per session or monthly in advance. No large lump sums and a highly affordable payment method. Please refer to our programmes for full pricing details.
I would like to work with you but I live a long distance away?
It's not a problem. Much of our coaching is over the telephone. It is a great way of working and easy to fit around busy lifestyles, infact many of our clients prefer it for that very reason. All you need is a phone line somewhere quiet and private where you will not be disturbed.
